The Week of December 23, 2019 — Clouds, Rain, and the Joy of Christmas

The featured image is of the central steel frame (arrow) for the Galeria and Main entrance. After the footings have been poured on the east and west sides, the steel will be set on each side completing the frame for the Galeria.

The beginning of Christmas week brought clouds and showers. For certain, a seasonal blessing for Southern California, but not for Christmas day. Despite the rain, the buildout of the interior continues and the steel frame for the central portion of the Galeria and the main entrance was erected. The welders are in the process of securing the beams and columns in place. Due to the forecasted rain, very little earthwork will be done around the area this week.
