The COVID-19 Weekly Update

In the United States 4,744 died during the last week, and in that total 475 people died in the state of California.

Behind the East Parking Lot Retaining Wall

Dirt has been filled in and compacted behind the east parking lot retaining wall. The dirt north/south service road has been restored, which will allow through access while the amphitheater is being excavated and rough grading of the east parking is completed.
From behind the east retaining wall, excavation of the amphitheater is underway (center left). To the right, the east parking lot will be rough grade before the underground utilities are laid subgrade.
Stan, one of the surveyors, told me today that the rough grade of the east parking lot is within a fraction of an inch of being completed. Trenchers will be coming in to bring in utilities such as irrigation water lines, electrical conduits for lighting, and water lines for fire hydrants.

The Emergency Generators — Update

All four generators can be seen from the west end of the plant. The cinder block has been painted in the famous Loma Linda Beige.

The Switchgear Room: Circuit breaker cabinets, which were up against the wall were moved over the electrical utility vault. Electricians are in the process of hooking up the electronics to the generators.

The electrical vault on which the circuit breaker cabinets (positioned at the left of the frame) will be placed once all of the wood forms are removed.

The Galleria Flooring
