As Alex, one of the laborers said to me a couple of years ago as he swung his hammer on the southeast corner of the moat: “I’d like to talk to you, Dennis, but I’m doing this for the kids.” He then looked over at the Children’s Hospital and smiled as he hammered away.

The 16th Floor Executive Board Room

The Executive Board Room is located on the 16th floor of the Adult Tower and in this night shot all of the lights are on in the room giving the appearance that this section of the floor (upper center right) is a band of light. The section of the Medical Center shown in the featured image is at the center-right of the frame.

After graduate school Dennis accepted a position at Loma Linda University. He worked there for 42 years in the areas of administration and financial management, also teaching accounting and management to dietetic students at the School of Public Health. Through the years Dennis has chronicled the growth of the campus, including the construction of the Drayson Center and the Centennial Complex and the razing of Gentry Gym.
