The Week of February 18, 2019 — More Windows and GFRC Panels; a ‘Super Snow Moon’, and Maybe More Rain

What better way to begin a new week than to remember an image of the evening before.

As evidenced by this image (two photos stitched together), the new LLUH Adult Hospital rises. like a sentinel. over the valley floor. This image was taken at the east end of Palm Avenue in Grand Terrace at the northern end of Blue Mountain. Prior to the construction of the new hospital, the existing Medical Center towers were not visible from this vantage point.

After a night sleeping under the bright light of the ‘super snow moon’, cheese (the crane at the right) wakes up at 6:40 AM, and stretches its long boom as it gets ready for another busy day. The crane to the left shudders in the cold hoping to get a few more winks before it has to begin its day.
