A New Hospital Entrance Opens *Completed*

new-hospital-entrance-site-2Photo above: This Google Map aerial view shows the former east entrance and circle drive to the Loma Linda University Medical Center. At the top left corner is the sharp bend where Taylor Court (a one-way street coming from the north, or left in this photo) runs into Prospect Avenue, an east-west thoroughfare, and the major road leading into the newly constructed entrance to the hospitals. Approximately one mile to the east, Prospect Avenue leads directly into the Jerry L. Pettis Memorial Veterans Medical Center main entrance. 🔨

Photo to the right: Another Google Map aerial view, this one depicts the exact same location as the previous photo, but after construction of the new entrance has begun. The dark patches of long, rounded asphalt in the road indicate where the tree-lined median of the entrance used to be. 🔨
