In November 2015, The Alumni Association, School of Medicine of Loma Linda University published the
DIRECTORY 2016 an annual Alumni JOURNAL Special Edition. In the issue, a two-page article entitled
“Vision 2020: Loma Linda Prepares to Construct Two New Hospitals” by Richard Hart, MD, DrPH,
President of Loma Linda University.

 

The first full-feature article detailing the reasons for constructing two new hospitals, which would expand the current
Children’s Hospital and replace the current adult hospital on the Loma Linda University campus, was published by
the Alumni Association, School of Medicine of Loma Linda University in its May – August 2016, Alumni JOURNAL.
The issue cover featured an artist rendering of the hospitals and the article by Richard Hart, MD, DrPH, President
of Loma Linda University appeared on pages 26 – 33.









 

Scope the Official Magazine of Loma Linda University Health published in its spring 2016 issue a two-page article
about the construction of the two hospital towers on the campus. The publication also featured a full-page ad on
the inside back cover inviting the reader to attend the groundbreaking ceremonies on Sunday, May 22, 2016.

Dennis E. Park, MA
After graduate school Dennis accepted a position at Loma Linda University. He worked there for 42 years in the areas of administration and financial management, also teaching accounting and management to dietetic students at the School of Public Health. Through the years Dennis has chronicled the growth of the campus, including the construction of the Drayson Center and the Centennial Complex and the razing of Gentry Gym.
