Sections 1 and 3 Continued

All of the columns in section 1, with the exception of two columns on the northwest corner, have been placed. The corrugated safety decking continues to be scattered on levels

 

The ironworkers are installing a BRB running diagonally from the floor of level “A” to the “A” level ceiling.  Looking down on the decking there is only one more row of columns along the south wall that needs to be lifted into place. Once that is completed columns will

Dennis E. Park, MA
After graduate school Dennis accepted a position at Loma Linda University. He worked there for 42 years in the areas of administration and financial management, also teaching accounting and management to dietetic students at the School of Public Health. Through the years Dennis has chronicled the growth of the campus, including the construction of the Drayson Center and the Centennial Complex and the razing of Gentry Gym.
