The Week of March 12, 2018 — The Vanishing Pit

The work week began on Sunday, March 11, 2018, not at the usual 6:00 AM starting time, but at 6:30 AM. The construction crew was given a half-hour reprieve for a few days due to daylight savings time that went into effect at 2:00 AM Sunday morning. Perhaps the crew will be able to make up for the lost sleep as the weatherman is forecasting rain for most of the week (Tuesday – Friday). The featured photo for the week was taken on March 12, 2018, with my iPhone 8 plus, from the ninth floor hallway that bridges the Children’s Hospital to the Medical Center towers. As it turned out, this would be the only photograph I would take of the site that day as my 90-something mother was on 9100 and I had to tend to her needs. If it weren’t for her being in the hospital, I would not have been able to view the construction site from above. Thus the title: The Vanishing Pit.
