How do they do that? Magnificent, Marvelous, Machines–the Power-Floats, a Video
Every time I see the power-floats in action, I am reminded of the bumper cars or hover cars at the county fair. I caught these magnificent, marvelous, machines (how do you like that for alliteration?) gliding over the freshly poured concrete on the southeast (last remaining) quadrant on the first floor. It would be great fun to be able to operate one of these machines!!
After graduate school Dennis accepted a position at Loma Linda University. He worked there for 42 years in the areas of administration and financial management, also teaching accounting and management to dietetic students at the School of Public Health. Through the years Dennis has chronicled the growth of the campus, including the construction of the Drayson Center and the Centennial Complex and the razing of Gentry Gym.
