How do they do that? Magnificent, Marvelous, Machines–the Power-Floats, a Video

Every time I see the power-floats in action, I am reminded of the bumper cars or hover cars at the county fair. I caught these magnificent, marvelous, machines (how do you like that for alliteration?) gliding over the freshly poured concrete on the southeast (last remaining) quadrant on the first floor. It would be great fun to be able to operate one of these machines!!
