How do They do That? Bend a Three-Inch EMT Galvanized Electrical Conduit

How do They do That? Bend a Three-Inch EMT Galvanized Electrical Conduit

On Wednesday, October 24, 2018, while I was wandering around in the basement (‘B’ level), I came upon two pieces of mean looking equipment, which could do serious damage to one’s extremities. I was aware that most of the conduit used by the electrical subcontractor came from suppliers, but I had always wondered about bending electrical conduit on the site PRN. There the equipment was, but no one was around. Perhaps they were on break or taking lunch. A couple of days later, I was back down in the basement. There they were: two electricians (Bernardo and Eric) about to bend some three-inch conduit. Of course, I had to record the process for a “How do they do that?” post. Enjoy!
