On Sunday, April 7, 2019, the crane company began tearing down the crane on the south side. With the window on the Children’s Hospital installed, the need and expense for such a large crane was no longer needed. This particular crane (dubbed “Cheese” by the kids in the Children’s Hospital) was erected on the south side on January 14 and 15, 2019
After graduate school Dennis accepted a position at Loma Linda University. He worked there for 42 years in the areas of administration and financial management, also teaching accounting and management to dietetic students at the School of Public Health. Through the years Dennis has chronicled the growth of the campus, including the construction of the Drayson Center and the Centennial Complex and the razing of Gentry Gym.
