An Invitation to be Part of History
With this post, the webmaster (me, myself and I) is introducing a new website feature, which hopefully will encourage LLU employees, faculty, students, and friends of LLU to become involved in documenting this historic campus project. We are requesting unique, fun, and exciting photos for inclusion in this feature. I realize that the submitted photos will be exterior shots taken from the perimeter, but that doesn’t matter in that the project is at a stage where there is and will be opportunity for some great shots. Send your submission(s) to dpark@llu.edu or ttletc@gmail.com and the committee (me, myself, and I) will review the photographs and select the most worthy, unique, fun, and exciting images. By submitting a photo, you will be permitting the committee to use your photo(s), with attribution, on this website. Keep in mind, space for this feature is limited, so make your shot count. Should your photo(s) not be used it/they will be returned to your email address of record. With your submission, we would appreciate knowing the following: 1) The location where the photo(s) was taken; 2) Approximate time of day the photo(s) was snapped; 3) Why did you snap the image; 4) Photographic equipment, i.e. iPhone, DSL camera (model), Yi, GoPro, etc.; 4) A short bio about yourself including but not limited to where you work, position, how many years have you been employed at LLU. For students, what school, and what year; and finally 5) As you have watched the hospitals rise out of the ground what sort of thoughts do you have about this incredible transformation project? If used your submission maybe edited for clarity and space purposes. Please spread the word. We look forward to your submissions.
An example of a unique, fun, and exciting photo.
I was stopped at the corner of Anderson Street and Stewart Street waiting for the light to turn. As I looked in my side view mirror, the tower for the Adult Hospital was clearly visible. I can think of other possibilities…use your imagination.
In this photo, the steel tower of Adult Hospital dwarfs the existing Medical Center’s west clover leaf tower.

Lift Off From the North Helipad. A nice view of the Adult Hospital’s tower, which temporarily leveled off at the 13th floor. (11.02.18)
