The Week of July 1, 2019 — A Week to Celebrate America

Happy July 4, 2019, From Mammoth, California, where my wife and I are spending a few delightful days with friends. Mammoth is one of our favorite haunts. The featured image for this post is a collage of four photos I took at the Mammoth Lakes 4th of July parade.

Although this week is a holiday week, work continues at the site. If you look at the webcams, it may appear that very little work is being done. Out side of the structures, work continues on four areas: 1. at the domestic water pit, the pipe-fitters continue to fit pipes to the large tanks. 2. on the west side between the two existing Medical Center, work continues as the excavate the dirt from the service pipes. 3. Rebar is being attached to Nelson nails so that the foundation walls can be completed, and 4. excavation on the back-up generator continues.

On the inside of the building on every floor of both hospitals, the buildout continues.
