A Colorful Look at the Project Through the Lens: That was Then and This Is Now

The featured image for this post is of the Loma Linda University Medical entrance as we remember it in 2015. This image was taken on September 28, 2015, during the “Make Ready” phase of the project. Heavy equipment had been on the north side of the main entrance demolishing the “Mary M” apartments, which had stood along the south side of Prospect Avenue west of Anderson Street.

After graduate school Dennis accepted a position at Loma Linda University. He worked there for 42 years in the areas of administration and financial management, also teaching accounting and management to dietetic students at the School of Public Health. Through the years Dennis has chronicled the growth of the campus, including the construction of the Drayson Center and the Centennial Complex and the razing of Gentry Gym.
