The Week of October 11, 2020 — More Signs That the Project is Nearing Completion

The featured image is of an Adult Towers west wing corridor on the 6th floor. The fashionable nursing stations are prominently displayed with patient rooms behind and to the front. The long corridor is nicely lit augmented by sunlight streaming through every patient room.

Despite the fact that the pandemic continues, the Presidential election is around the corner, the supreme court hearings have begun, and the country remains divided. There is one constant on the Loma Linda University Health campus — THE DENNIS AND CAROL TROESH MEDICAL CAMPUS IS NEARING COMPLETION as evidenced by the featured image.

More Signs That the Project is Nearing Completion

Adult Hospital

The head wall of a 6th floor patient’s private room. Clockwise from the left is a Corian countertop, with a sink, mirror, soap and paper towel dispensers. The patient’s room looks out through double glass sliding doors to the nurses station. To the right of the sliding doors is the patient’s private bathroom, which includes a shower.
You know that the project is coming to a close when the analog clock is on the wall, just to the right is the digital clock. Below the clocks is an adjustable wall mounted workstation for a monitor, keyboard, and a mouse tray. In the center of the whiteboard is the black TV wall mount.

Another sign that the project is nearing completion when telephones, ready to be installed, are spotted at many of the nursing stations.

Adult 7th-floor public elevators.
7th-floor waiting room, which is directly across the hallway from the Adult public elevators. The waiting room that doglegs to the right has floor to ceiling windows that over looks the campus and the mountains to the north.
