The featured image for this blog is of the Groundbreaking which took place on Sunday May 22, 2016, with the iconic cloverleaf towers of the Medical Center serving as a backdrop. Those in attendance sat in the area where the east parking lot is now being constructed. Today, the once iconic cloverleaf towers are overshadowed by the Adult and Children’s hospital towers that could have only been imagined five years ago.

On August 12, 2020, at 5:10 PM, the late afternoon sun appeared to crown the Adult Hospital Tower casting a long shadow on the east side of the building.

After graduate school Dennis accepted a position at Loma Linda University. He worked there for 42 years in the areas of administration and financial management, also teaching accounting and management to dietetic students at the School of Public Health. Through the years Dennis has chronicled the growth of the campus, including the construction of the Drayson Center and the Centennial Complex and the razing of Gentry Gym.
