A Layer of Grout Between the Isolator and its Base

After the isolator has been leveled on its base a layer of grout is pumped between the isolator and its base. This step is required to provide bearing stability, which otherwise would not be present if the isolator rested solely on the leveling bolts. Like many of the steps, several tests were run to establish the integrity of the materials and techniques used to meet the code requirements.
