The Week of July 20, 2020 — The Pandemic Rages and Hits Close to Home. Signs of Nearing Completion Continues

The data is coming in each and every day, and it doesn’t look good. PRAYER IS THE OPERATIVE WORD!!!!!

After the second wave of the COVID-19 virus hit Southern California and much of the State, it is only natural that it would become the featured image in an upcoming weekly blog. Behind the tower walls, there are patients infected with the virus who are struggling to stay alive. Despite the dedicated healthcare professionals’ heroic efforts, some will succumb to the dreaded virus for which there is no vaccine at the time of this writing. It is with a heavy heart that I write this paragraph as my wife and I have a very dear friend who is fighting for his life in one of the COVID ICU rooms in one of the towers. His beloved wife texted us a short while ago saying: “[t]he doctors and nurses are working very hard to help him get better….it is now a wait and see.” All we can do is pray and wait!

THE STATS KEEP CLIMBING

It breaks my heart knowing that a great friend is one of the California Coronavirus cases. I feel for all the families that have dealt with or are dealing with this terrible virus. May the research scientists develop a vaccine soon! WEAR A MASK!!!!!!!!
