The Week of January 14, 2019 — A New Crane, Rain, Air Handlers, More Rain, and Mud
Despite the rain, the Hill Crane Company rolled into the south yard off of Barton Road, parallel to the Children’s Hospital tower, a large crane (a Leibherr LTM 1400 – 7 .1 with a Fixed Jib Y-Guy Attachment), which would take several hours to erect. The crane on the north side would stand down during the week.
After graduate school Dennis accepted a position at Loma Linda University. He worked there for 42 years in the areas of administration and financial management, also teaching accounting and management to dietetic students at the School of Public Health. Through the years Dennis has chronicled the growth of the campus, including the construction of the Drayson Center and the Centennial Complex and the razing of Gentry Gym.
