One Cloudy Day in April *Completed*

One hot and humid afternoon in April of 2016, a few days following the permanent closure of the Loma Linda University Medical Center Drive, a beautiful cloud formation hung in the sky just west of the campus. The heavy equipment stood still, and the usual traffic on Anderson Street was nowhere to be seen. All was quiet. For a brief moment, the rays of the sun attempted to pierce through the cumulous clouds in an effort to highlight the Loma Linda University Medical Center and Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. The just completed round-a-bout and entrance off of Prospect Street can be seen, to the right and beyond the Vision 2020 sign, where the cars are parked,

After graduate school Dennis accepted a position at Loma Linda University. He worked there for 42 years in the areas of administration and financial management, also teaching accounting and management to dietetic students at the School of Public Health. Through the years Dennis has chronicled the growth of the campus, including the construction of the Drayson Center and the Centennial Complex and the razing of Gentry Gym.
